The eCinema Desktop (or eDESK) is ideal for editing, compositing and color-correction in a workstation workflow.

The eDESK addresses a problem in monitoring today:  Multiple monitors calibrated to dissimilar standards.  The typical post-production suite of today has a combination of various video and computer monitors.  In general, these monitors rarely match the required calibration and colorimetry of a properly configured DI/Video monitor.  The eDESK solution directly addresses this issue with matched computer and video monitors.

The unique eDESK package includes an LCD video monitor, one or two computer monitors, a reference surround screen, and a surround light source for a full turn-key critical-evaluation system.

The eDESK solution consists of eCinema Systems’ DVI-class of computer monitors, in combination with a matched LCD video monitor.  As calibrated field of view is of paramount importance when critically evaluating color, all of the images within this field are calibrated to an exact same standard with the eDESK.
